Chapman Molony is a firm of Chartered UK Patent Attorneys, European Patent Attorneys and European Trade Mark Attorneys. We can represent overseas clients at the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office (EPO), and the European Trade Marks and Designs Office (OHIM/OAMI).
We believe in working closely alongside our overseas clients and associates, to provide commercially relevant, practical advice on UK and European IP law and practice.
Our patent, trade mark and design services include: filing and prosecuting applications claiming priority from overseas applications or registrations; entering the UK national phase and European regional phase from PCT applications; responding to the Examination of Madrid Protocol applications at the UK and European Community Trade Mark Offices; oppositions and appeals at the EPO; infringement advice; and advising on enforcing UK and European IP rights.

Our fees for filing patent, trade mark and design applications include a review of the originating application and advice on any amendments required to comply with UK and European practice. This ensures cost-effective and efficient processing of the application, and optimises the protection available to the applicant.

Our head office is based in Winchester, just 50 minutes from central London. We also have key offices in Royal Leamington Spa and Cardiff, close to the UK Intellectual Property Office. All of our offices are conveniently located for travel to Munich to represent clients at EPO hearings.
