Appointment further strengthens optics and telecoms expertise
Chapman Molony is pleased to announce the appointment of trainee patent attorney Dr Marc Stephens. His insight and industry experience further strengthens the firm’s offering and builds on our already highly regarded optics/photonics and telecoms expertise.
Marc joins us after working in the telecommunications industry for over 10 years. He has significant experience in the research and development of optical components and telecoms systems, and was most recently a senior development engineer at Ericsson. While at Ericsson, Marc worked on dense wavelength division multiplexed optical communications systems and also advised on a pan-European collaborative research programme on photonic integration.
Marc’s technical knowledge spans the fields of photonics, telecommunications, optoelectronics and physics. He graduated from Imperial College with a first class physics degree and attained a PhD in Photonics from Bristol University.
