Professional staff

TA/Part-qualified attorney – Chemistry – Winchester

We are looking for an energetic technical assistant/part-qualified patent attorney to help us with our expanding chemical workload. You should have at least a first degree, and ideally a PhD, in Chemistry. The person we are looking for must be able to handle both complex chemical technology and more straightforward ‘mechanical/generalist’ work.

You should have at least 18 months – 2 years IP experience and have sat at least some of the foundation papers. Some industrial experience would also be an advantage. This role is a diverse one, allowing you to obtain practical experience of all the different aspects of patent and trade mark work, particularly drafting, filing and prosecution. You will be working alongside one of the firm’s directors in a small, close-knit team that prides itself on delivering outstanding client service. You can expect hands-on training and early contact with clients ranging from multinationals to SMEs and start-ups.

Support Staff

We have an excellent team of support staff, which includes secretaries, IP formalities staff and accounts professionals, who assist our professional staff and help to look after our clients and their cases.
